"We had 14 new energy star dual pane windows installed in our vintage 1973 South Lake Tahoe chalet in 2020, including a new slider door. These were ordered in Douglas Fir wood, pre-finished clear and installed with custom unfinished Tahoe trim. All windows came from the factory fine, but unfortunately, the sliding door came unfinished — a factory mix-up. South Shore Glass and Door came through and hired Crist Painting Services to refinish the sliding door at no charge. This worked out really well, Cory Crist nailed it on the clear varnish matching the factory Weathershield finish exactly. It was so good, that we hired his team to do all the new interior trim around the windows. We also asked for a recommendation staining the new exterior Cedar trim, Cory supplied the stain and coached me on application. Totally amazing quality work, super attention to detail, highly recommended!
